Training Seminar of the C5+ONE Regional Program

From July 7 to August 4, 2025, Dilber Mudarowa, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, together with 25 English language teachers from various general education, secondary vocational, and higher education institutions of Turkmenistan, participated in a training seminar held within the framework of the U.S. C5+ONE regional program in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
The C5+ONE event (Opening Networks through English) brought together more than 180 English teachers from five Central Asian countries – Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. In line with the goals of the program, this seminar served as an effective platform for mastering modern teaching methods that meet today’s educational standards, fostering international cooperation, and exchanging experience among teachers from across the region.

The participants underwent intensive English language training based on an adapted professional curriculum. During practical sessions and workshops, teachers studied up-to-date methodologies for teaching English, worked diligently to improve their language proficiency, and enhanced their knowledge and professional skills. They also shared personal teaching experiences and exchanged best practices in English language instruction, including successful examples of integrating digital technologies.

This seminar was the second stage of the educational program. The entire program consists of three interconnected stages. The first stage was conducted online from May 13 to June 9, 2025. The third stage, scheduled for September 2025 to March 2026, will focus on building networks, fostering collaboration, and supporting professional development.

The C5+ONE regional program includes intensive English courses, national and regional training seminars, webinars and online communications, site visits, professional development activities, mentorship, and engagement with program alumni.
