231STRENGTHENING COOPERATION IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM
From 5 to 8 May 2026, a training seminar entitled “Development of the Circular Economy” and “Prevention of Corruption and Combating Corruption” is being held at the Turkmen State Institute of Finance. The seminar is organized by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Centre in Ashgabat with the participation of faculty members and students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, and the Turkmen State Institute of Finance.
During the training seminar, it was noted that the national programmes, concepts and other documents of Turkmenistan define improving the living standards and welfare of the population as the main objective of the country’s long-term strategic development. It was also emphasized that the tasks outlined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development are being implemented in an integrated manner. The speakers highlighted the experience of developed countries in advancing the circular economy and ensuring waste-free production, as well as the support of the international community for the initiatives put forward by Turkmenistan in this area.
The training seminar conducted by experts of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe became a new step in educational cooperation for students studying in the relevant fields.
