366“CirculEC” PROJECT (ITALY)
In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, great efforts are being made to develop our country's education system, expand international cooperation in training highly qualified specialists, and establish partnerships between our country's higher education institutions and educational institutions of foreign states.
As part of the CirculEC project under the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, a working visit of lecturers from the Turkmen State Institute of Finance to Italy, Naples, took place from March 10 to 15, 2025. The delegation included senior lecturer of the Department of Finance Shohrat Bashimov, senior lecturer of the Department of Insurance Palvan Nurmedov, and acting head of the Academic Department Eziznazar Beknazarov.
The seminar, held at the University of Federico II in Naples, was attended by professors and lecturers from higher education institutions in Italy, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. The academic seminar consisted of three thematic blocks:
1. Competitiveness of territorial and urban structures;
2. Indicators of sustainability and competitiveness;
3. Sustainability and competitiveness rankings of Central Asian countries.
Various issues were discussed within each block.
The first block covered territorial competitiveness and sustainability rankings, urban competition, and comparisons of global rankings. The second block addressed the development of sustainability and competitiveness concepts, urban sustainability, and the factors influencing their competitiveness. In the final part of the seminar, studies on sustainability and competitiveness in Central Asian cities were presented.
Additionally, a business training session in the format of a case study was conducted among participants, based on the circular economy model (waste reduction, recycling, and reintegration of raw materials into circulation). At the end of the academic seminar, participants were awarded certificates.
