270International Training Program on “Internet + Application of Digital Media Technologies in Industrial Marketing” Held in China
Within the framework of expanding international cooperation in the field of education of Turkmenistan, Serdar Agalykow, Head of the Department of Information and Technical Teaching Resources of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, Sadykow Muhammet, Researcher of the Department of Labor and Vocational Education of the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan, and Nazarow Tahyr, Lecturer of the Department of Innovative Information Security Technologies of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, took part in the international training program “Internet + Application of Digital Media Technologies in Industrial Marketing” held in Xi’an and Yangzhou, China, from July 13 to August 3, 2025. The program was organized by Shaanxi University of Science and Technology.
The training program brought together professors and lecturers from universities of Central Asian countries. Its main goal was to improve the knowledge, skills, and experience of education specialists in the areas of digital technologies, digital marketing, and international academic cooperation.
During the program, the participants studied China’s modern achievements in digital spheres and exchanged experiences to strengthen international cooperation. They also had the opportunity to visit historical and cultural landmarks of China.

Today, digital media technologies are widely integrated into all spheres of society, playing a crucial role in preparing, sharing, and delivering information. In education, these technologies are used to develop digital courses, improve students’ skills, and ensure effective communication. In marketing, the role of digital media technologies is growing rapidly. They allow information to be presented in modern formats, reach a wide audience via the Internet, and expand international cooperation. Their effective use helps improve the quality of teaching in higher education institutions, develop students’ digital competencies, and introduce new practices.
With the development of digital technologies, marketing has also gained new opportunities. Today, digital marketing is considered one of the most effective tools for promoting services and products to wide audiences. One of its key advantages is the ability to analyze data precisely and deliver it to targeted audiences. Through social media, websites, and digital platforms, the effectiveness of promotion increases, while direct communication with audiences is established.
In education, digital marketing is also widely applied. It allows universities to promote themselves internationally, expand cooperation, and introduce digital literacy to students. Digital marketing is an important direction that ensures development in line with modern requirements and integration with leading global practices.
Higher education institutions and academic centers in China expressed strong interest in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan. As part of the program, the representative of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance discussed the possibility of signing a memorandum of cooperation with Shaanxi University of Science and Technology in the future.
At the end of the program, participants who successfully completed the training received special diplomas, confirming their newly acquired knowledge and skills in digital technologies and digital marketing.
