Bachelor program
78In accordance with the bachelor's program operating at the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, highly educated personnel are trained in the following areas of training «Economics and Management»:
Finance;
International Finance;
Financial control;
Financial Management;
Finance and Credit;
Banking and money circulation;
Financial markets and banks;
Taxes and taxation;
Risk management and insurance business;
Business-informatics;
Accounting and auditing;
Stock market business.
Education at the Turkmen State Institute of Finance is provided on a fee-paying basis.
The Institute admits citizens of Turkmenistan no older than 35 years old, with at least a general secondary education, based on the results of entrance examinations on a competitive basis.
List of documents submitted by applicants wishing to study in the bachelor's program of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance:
an application addressed to the rector in the established form;
a questionnaire in the established form;
an education document (original);
a medical certificate in the form established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan;
a reference from the last place of study (work, military unit);
eight photographs measuring 3x4 cm;
a certified copy of the work book for employees;
winners of the state school Olympiad, members of the national teams of Turkmenistan who participated in international Olympiads in academic subjects submit the original of the relevant documents confirming these grounds.
In addition, applicants, along with the above documents, present and submit to the Admissions Committee copies of the following documents:
passport;
military ID or registration certificate and a certificate from the military commissariat at the place of residence.
An applicant may present other documents that confirm his/her non-competitive and (or) preferential right to enrollment as a student.
Entrance examinations in all areas of training are held in mathematics, history of Turkmenistan, geography.
Entrance examinations in academic subjects are held on the basis of the curricula for secondary schools of Turkmenistan.
Entrance examinations in academic subjects are held orally in the state language.
Persons who fail to appear for the exam at the scheduled time without good reason or who fail the exam in one of the subjects are not allowed to take subsequent exams.
Applicants enjoy non-competitive and preferential rights to be admitted to the number of students, subject to successful completion of entrance examinations, in accordance with the provisions established by the Law of Turkmenistan "On Education" (new edition).
