118 The Turkmen State Institute of Finance participates in the project "Development of innovative curricula and modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development" (CirculEC) of the European Union Erasmus+ program
In the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state, thanks to the wise policy of the respected President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, international cooperation in the field of education and science is developing, as a result of which the scientific and educational potential of our country is being strengthened.
The Turkmen State Institute of Finance is participating in the project " Development of innovative curricula and modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development" of the ERASMUS+ program, which will be implemented from 2023 to 2026.
According to the project plan, from April 20 to May 1, 2024, meetings and conferences were held in the cities of Bielefeld (Federal Republic of Germany), Santiago de Compostela (Kingdom of Spain) and Naples (Republic of Italy) with the participation of an expert of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Rustam Gadzhiev, a senior lecturer of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance Shohrat Byashimov, as well as a lecturer of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management Arslan Matkarimov.
As part of the program, at the opening ceremony of the conference, held at the University of Applied Sciences of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Bielefeld (Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM)) on April 22-23, the heads of the relevant higher education institutions made opening remarks and wished the project success. During the meetings and training sessions, the project work plan, organizational and financial issues, set goals, a plan for future actions, dates of the next meetings and trainings were discussed.
From 24 to 26 April, a seminar was held at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Kingdom of Spain. The participants of the seminar shared their views and experiences on priority issues for the countries of Europe and Central Asia in solving the problems of sustainable development and the circular economy: urban and industrial waste management, recycling development, renewable energy sources, reduction of plastic waste, etc. Visits to research centers and laboratories for drinking water recycling were also organized.
From 29 April to 1 May, a meeting was held at the University of Naples Federico II, Republic of Italy. In this meeting, tasks were defined for studying and developing business modules for the circular economy. Also, trainings on the topics of "Circular Economy", "Business Models of the Circular Economy in Telecommunications", "Instruments of the Circular Economy" were held for representatives of the Republics of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. The organized trainings were successfully completed, and the representatives who took part in these trainings were awarded certificates.
