Senior Lecturer of the Finance Department of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance Shohrat Byashimov took part in a seminar on «Improving university-industry cooperation for current and future employment, innovation and sustainable ecosystems» held at the University of Applied Sciences, Tampere, Republic of Finland, from 3 to 4 September 2024, which was organized by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA) jointly with the SPHERE (Support and Promotion of Higher Education Reform Experts) consortium within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

As part of the study visit, the leaders of Tampere University of Applied Sciences made an opening speech at the opening ceremony and wished the study visit success. During the study visit entitled «Improving university-industry cooperation for current and future employment, innovation and sustainable ecosystems», a guided tour of the Textile and Virtual Labs of the Business and Media School of Tampere University of Applied Sciences was organised. The Director of the School of Business and Media, Dr Niina Jallinoja, led a group discussion on the topic «Education for today’s and tomorrow’s jobs». During the discussion, the participants expressed their views on the topic.

The topics discussed in this study visit included cooperation between Tampere University of Applied Sciences and the private sector, the need for continuous professional development, ecosystem characteristics, pedagogical skills in working life, and the development of university-industry cooperation.
