OLYMPIAD IN INFORMATICS
55Our National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and our Arkadagly Hero President, create ample opportunities for the young generation, who are the future of our country, to grow up healthy, be brought up in the national spirit, receive modern education, engage in science, and become skilled professionals in their chosen fields in the future.
In accordance with the Procedure for holding Olympiads in subjects among senior secondary school pupils in higher educational institutions of the country in 2025 "International Year of Peace and Trust", approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan No.25 dated on January 28, 2025, and on April 2, 2025, an Olympiad in the subject "Informatics" was held among the pupils of XI-XII grades of secondary schools, organized by the Turkmen State Institute of Finance. The Olympiad was attended by 95 pupils from secondary schools of the Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary velayats, and the city of Ashgabat and Arkadag. The pupils demonstrated their high level of preparation in computer science.
The Olympiad in Informatics will help the pupils to improve their computer literacy, develop practical skills, increase their interest in programming and modeling, and instill enthusiasm for the rapidly developing professions of the digital economy.
The jury, consisting of professors and teachers of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, summed up the results of the Olympiad in the subject "Informatics" and determined the winners. Pupils who took first, second and third places were awarded with Diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees, as well as gifts prepared by the Turkmen State Institute of Finance.
