48The Finance Department consists of three Chairs: Finance, Theory of Economics and Foreign Languages. The department prepares specialists and bachelors in the following areas: «Finance», «Financial Control», «Financial Management», «International Finances».
Graduates of the department work in the central, regional and district departments of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, banks, insurance organizations, exchanges, enterprises of various forms of ownership, research and other institutions.
The Chairs of the finance department carry out research work in various directions. These works are devoted to topical issues of the national economy development. Along with the professorship and teaching staff of the department, student youth are actively involved in this work. They speak at scientific and practical conferences held in our country, in foreign countries, at the institute and at the department, regularly publish scientific articles in periodicals. Students take an active part in state subject academic competitions and international online academic competitions, various scientific competitions, as well as in scientific circles operating at the departments of the institute.
