60The department prepares bachelors in the field of study «Business Informatics», as well as specialists in the specialty «Economic Informatics». Graduates of this area of training (specialty) work mainly in the financial and economic sphere of the country, at enterprises of various forms of ownership, as well as in institutions and organizations. The department conducts classes in the disciplines «Modern Computer Technologies», «Digital Economics», «Information Systems and Technologies in Economics», «Programming Fundamentals», «Web Programming», «Operating Systems and Application Programming», «Computer Networks», «Ensuring cybersecurity», «Web programming language», «Java programming language», «Modern programming technologies», etc.
Teachers of the department «Information Technologies» participate in the creation of the website of the Institute, the educational portal, the internal network and the improvement of their information support.
Under the authorship of the teachers of the department, the textbook «Computer Science» was published, as well as study guides: «Concepts based on modern computer technologies», «Modern computer technologies (Laboratories I and II)», «Information systems and technologies in the economy (Laboratory works)», «The geometry that surrounds us», «Some concepts used in the digital education system», «HDML language», «CSS language».
Currently, the department is conducting research work on the topic «Technologies for creating databases», and there is also a scientific circle «Programmer». Teachers of the department publish scientific articles in journals. They supervise the scientific work of students who participate in scientific circles, prepare students for participation in ongoing state and international subject Olympiads, competitions of scientific works (projects).
