Higher mathematics
54The teaching staff of the department «Higher Mathematics» in all areas of training (specialties) conduct classes in the disciplines: «Higher Mathematics», «Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics», «Modern Theories of Natural Science», «Economic and Mathematical Methods and Models», «Econometrics», «Mathematical Analysis» and others.
Under the authorship of the teaching staff of the department «Higher Mathematics», the educational books «Econometrics», «Economic and Mathematical Methods and Models», «Psychology of an Engineer Economist», as well as the textbook «Collection of Problems in Higher Mathematics» were published.
Currently, the department is conducting research work on the topic «Optimal solution of transport problems under conditions of uncertainty (on the example of a transport system)», and there is also a scientific circle «Mathematician». The faculty of the department publish scientific articles in journals. They supervise the scientific work of students who participate in scientific circles, prepare students for participation in ongoing state and international subject Olympiads, competitions of scientific works (projects).
