24On November 2, 2024, a mass ascent along the Path of Health took place with the participation of the Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
On October 25, 2024, at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, our Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov informed to Turkmen people the good news that a ceremony would be held to honor athletes who achieved high results in international sport competitions throughout the year and won prizes. It was pride that among them was Begenjov Alp-Arslan, the 1st year student in the field of training “Exchange work” of “Accounting and auditing” faculty of Turkmen State Institute of Finance, which became one of the key highlights of the event.
As we know, at the World Championship (under the age of 20) in “Freestyle Wrestling” that took place from September 2 to 8, 2024 in Pontevedra, Kingdom of Spain, Alp-Arslan Begenjov became the first ever champion of the U-20 at the World Youth Championship and won a gold medal in the weight category up to 79 kilograms with a clear victory and became the pride of the Motherland as the first ever champion in Freestyle wrestling among wrestlers under the age of 20 in the history of Turkmenistan.
As mentioned above, at the mass ascent that took place on November 2, Esteemed President presented the athlete-a student of Turkmen State Institute of Finance, with a valuable gift a white “Toyota Camry V6” car, which became one of the most exciting events for the people and will further inspire our young athletes to achieve new victories.
