On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, a scientific and practical conference on the theme «The Main Directions of Socio-economic Development of Independent Turkmenistan» was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Finance on September 23, 2024.

The opening of the conference began with the planned scientific reports at the plenary session. Then the scientific reports continued in five sections of the conference.

In the scientific presentations of scientists, specialists, postgraduates, doctoral students and students, special attention was paid to the country's achievements over the years of independence, the implemented economic reforms, as well as the results obtained in the course of scientific research. The scientific reports aroused great interest among the participants, and an exchange of questions and answers took place.
