26The Department of Accounting prepares bachelors and specialists in the field of study (specialty) «Accounting and Audit», «Exchange Business». Graduates of this area of training (specialty) work at enterprises of various forms of ownership, organizations, as well as at stock, commodity, currency and labour exchanges.
The department conducts classes in the disciplines «Theory of Accounting», «Accounting», «Accounting Financial Accounting», «Accounting Management Accounting», «Accounting in Banks», «Accounting in Budgetary Institutions», «International Financial Reporting Standards», «Accounting expertise», «Audit», «International auditing standards», «Economic analysis», «Analysis of the work of budgetary institutions», «Financial analysis», «Analysis of banking activities», «Theory of statistics», «Financial statistics», «Banking Statistics», etc. The teachers of the department carry out the necessary work to improve the quality of education, the formation of students' professional skills and abilities through the widespread use of active teaching methods. Under the authorship of the teachers of the department, an educational book «International Auditing Standards» was published.
Currently, the department is conducting research work on the topic «Improving the programming of the analysis of the economic efficiency of production in small and medium-sized enterprises». According to the results of a scientific topic, teachers publish scientific articles in journals.
In the scientific circle «Accountant» operating at the department, students under the guidance of teachers carry out scientific topics (projects).
